Using a Palm handheld, students learn the basics of operating a PDA and explore some add-on software applications that add to this tool’s functionality in the classroom. They learn how to enter information, synchronize with a desktop computer, beam information from one handheld to another, and much more. Background information covers the history of this technology and discusses its growing use in the education and business world. This curriculum will
accommodate 7-, 10-, or 15-day class rotations.
