Designed for students in grades 6-12, the Boomilever Kit Class Pack introduces students to cantilevered structures to teach principles of physics and engineering. It is specifically designed to help students prepare for the Boomilever Competition in Science Olympiad. Students build a pre-designed boomilever and use the completed structures in a classroom competition.

Boomilever Kit provides everything needed to complete 15 tensioned boomilevers:

• full-size plans and testing wall template
• teacher’s guide on CD

  The teacher’s guide contains a wealth of information (over 60 pages) to help present this module, including lesson plans, student handouts, procedures for testing and evaluation, list of standards, glossary, and more.
