Budding videographers advance to the next level as they rework their footage into a full-featured DVD. After reading a brief introduction about DVDs and DVD production, students set to work planning their very own DVD production. To organize their ideas, they create a flowchart, much like the ones DVD producers, directors, and other professionals use in the real world. Using Pinnacle Studio, students go on to assemble and edit their footage and build interactive menus with links and returns so users can navigate their DVD. After thoroughly testing their project, they copy their completed projects onto DVD-Rs, which they can take home to play on a set-top or computer DVD player.
