Robotics Navigation

This add-on module enables students to build on the programming skills they developed in the Robotics 15-Day Module. Students program the Boe-Bot to use infrared light to avoid objects and to detect and react when it nears the edge of a surface. Using the Ping Ultrasonic Range Finder, they go on to write a program that uses the range finder to calculate an object’s distance from the Boe-Bot. Finally, they program the robot to seek objects with the ultrasonic range finder and then move towards them.
