Computer AnimationThis module introduces students to the basics of computer animation, including animation scripting and layout, and creating cel animation (the same animation form that Disney uses). They also gain experience making a script and manipulating graphics to create an animation sequence. In later activities, students explore their creative side as they design and create their own original animation using the included Toon Boom Studio software and state-of-the-art drawing tablet. Students also learn how to copy their completed animation to a CD, which they can take home to show their family and friends. This curriculum will accommodate 7-, 10-, or 15-day class rotations.
