 
Using the digital camera, students can
capture images from almost anywhere.
Digital photography is a fun and useful technology to
master, and this module provides all the basics to get your
students started on the path to success. Using a digital
camera, scanner, photo printer, and Adobe Photoshop
Elements software, students have the chance to create a
variety of exciting hands-on projects, including
a T-shirt transfer, mouse pad, 2-sided jigsaw
puzzle, and magnet sheet. In the process, they
explore the technology that makes digital
photography possible and experiment with
a variety of basic image editing tools and
techniques. As they gain proficiency using the
tools of this technology, they also learn about
composition, lighting, and other elements that
any aspiring photographer must understand.
This curriculum will accommodate 7-, 10-, or
15-day class rotations
