Home-building kit includes complete cardboard model-building materials to construct a detailed scale model of almost any house design. This kit is ideal for teaching architectural design and model-building and for making design presentations.

Model-building materials include 1/4 in. scale siding, roofing, windows, doors, skylights, deck, brick, stone, interior walls, stairs, kitchen cabinets and appliances, furniture symbols, landscaping and even 1/4 in.-scale people. Each sheet of material has an illustration or photo of a building material on one side and a grid on the other side.

The grid makes it easy to construct the model, and the illustrations and photos give the model realistic detail. Cardboard sheets are 12 in. x 18 in. There is enough model-building material to construct a model house up to 6,200 square feet or several smaller model houses. An 18 in. x 24 in., 1/4 in.-scale floor plan grid is provided as a base for the model.

A design manual with model-building instructions and information on architectural design, plus a cardboard scale ruler and roof slope calculator are also included. The kit is packaged in a clear plastic bag.
