Bridge Builder software will teach your students basic engineering concepts associated with bridge structures. This software provides a creative environment in which inquisitive students have the adventure of solving a true-life engineering problem. Bridge Builder allows students to simulate a real bridge design and to test that design with a modern structural analysis package. The Bridge Builder system includes a CAD program with editing features, such as joint shifts and deletes, member deletes, size changes and strength inquiries. A transparent Structural Analysis Package simulates an 80,000 pound truck load, determines forces in bridge truss members and automatically checks for overload stresses in the members. Bridge Builder offers a collapse simulation if the bridge is underdesigned. And your students can even print out their bridge results.
