ADA Workstations

With Powerlab 8's ADA Linking Unit, students with disabilities will be able to work side-by-side with their classmates - not at a separate, far away workspace. The unit connects between two octagons and is fully wheelchair accessible. This enables students with disabilities to participate fully in classroom and team activities, and offers them complete and easy access to lab utilities, such as electrical and gas services.

The ADA Linking unit is 34" high and is available with or without a sink. The optional white Corian^® sink measures 15 3/4" x 15 3/4" x 1/4" d. The underside of the sink is enclosed in medium density fiberboard; however, the rest of the unit's underside is open to allow for wheelchair access on either side of the unit. The kneehole opening is 32" wide.
