Expand your storage and free up valuable floor space with convenient, versatile cabinetry
and storage units, including base and wall cabinetry, tall storage and mobile storage. We can work with you to
plan and layout perimeter cabinetry -- with or without seating -- as well as other storage solutions.
Shain's storage solutions are constructed of solid maple framing with birch plywood sides
and panels utilizing mortise and tenon joint construction. The drawer fronts on Shain's cabinets are milled
out of solid stock and are dovetailed, glued and pinned. Drawer bottoms are dadoed, glued and pinned. Drawer
pulls are thru bolted for maximum strength. Finish consists of sealer with multiple coats of lacquer.
Single-Base and Double-Base Cabinets
Choose from a variety of options, including units with single or double doors with
adjustable shelves, shallow or deep drawers, lockable units, and more. Our 35" wide, double drawer, double door unit with
one adjustable shelf is one of the most versatile and popular options used in science labs. Choose from a variety of tops
to coordinate with student workstations and other elements in your lab space. Locks, finished backs and extended bases are
available for an additional cost.
Tall Storage Cabinets and Teacher's Wardrobe Cabinets
Cabinets are 84" high and available in different widths and depths.
Choose from units with adjustable shelves, tote trays, and more. The Teacher's Wardrobe Cabinet features a fixed shelf and
clothing rod on one side. Ideal for storing classroom materials or personal supplies, each of these cabinets comes complete
with masterkeyed lock.
Wall Cabinets
Standard wall cabinets are 30"h and 12"d. You can choose from one-door units, two door
units or sliding glass door units. All have birch plywood interiors. Locks are available for all doors.
Mobile Storage
With Shain, you can design a custom mobile unit that meets your specific needs. Choose the base cabinet
your want, then add a top, casters, locks, etc. You can also choose from a variety of stock mobile storage units, including
cabinets with lockable doors, tote trays, adjustable shelves and drawers. Mobile storage may be available with Chemsurf™,
plastic laminate or maple tops.
