Teacher's Demo Benches
This teacher's demo bench is a weighty, substantial piece of furniture with lots of handy, lockable storage. It's
size and durable construction make it ideal for almost any laboratory environment.
The bench is constructed of solid maple framing with birch plywood panel sides and back. Cabinet frames are made
of solid rock maple and feature glued and pinned mortise and tenon joints. Drawer fronts are milled out of solid
stock and are dovetailed, glued and pinned. Drawer bottoms are dadoed, glued and pinned. Drawer pulls are thru
bolted for maximum strength. Finish consists of sealer with multiple coats of lacquer. The demo bench features a
1" solid epoxy resin top (a 1 1/4" black plastic laminate flat top is also available). Available in two sizes:
5-Foot Teacher's Demo Bench
Base includes a single door unit with adjustable shelf, four drawers, a pull-out writing shelf and optional
masterkeyed locks. Accessories include AC GFI duplex receptacle, 13"l x 15"w x 5" deep stainless steel sink, rock
sockets, upright set with crossbar, cold water faucet and double gas cock. Overall size: 60"w x 30"d x 36"h.
8-Foot Teacher's Demo Bench
Base includes double door unit with adjustable shelves, five drawers and optional masterkeyed locks. Accessories
include AC GFI duplex receptacle, 18"l x 15"w x 11"d stainless steel sink, rod sockets, upright set with crossbar,
cold and hot water faucet and double gas cock. Overall size: 96"w x 30"d x 36" h.
Both units may also be purchased with a flat top - no accessories.
Add-on Instructor's Desk
The add-on instructor's desk attaches to the end of the teacher's demo bench to provide a traditional desk surface.
At 30" high, the top is stepped down 6" from the demo bench top. A kneehole space offers ample room for a task chair.
A handy locking drawer is centered over the kneehole space. The desk also includes 3 locking drawers along the right
end of the table. The other end is open to attach to the demo bench.
